My name is Vincent Klug. God has appointed me to the high calling of husband, father, disciple of Jesus and pastor. After searching carefully and with a great deal of prayer (I was scared of commitment) I found this treasure from God named Beth Klug. She is a psychotherapist and works very hard at home (major points right there!).
I work part-time for Vintage-Faith Community Church, the church of our dreams. I love the people there and I love that they want to hear inductive/contextual preaching and teaching. I also work part-time for Right the First Time (a handy man business I started). I love both jobs, but I love being a pastor more.
I am into: being used by God (major adrenaline rush- ”OK”, maybe that does sound “churchy”, but I like to feel alive, awake, stimulated…); being married (this would be shocking to you if you knew me just a few years ago because my marriage was majorly dysfunctional and painful for a ver long time…we put God’s truth to work in us…amazing stuff…); community (I know that sounds lame, but there is this moment when your not trying to “get it” and when you don’t expect it that everyone in the room feels this connection and this transcendance- just authenticly sharing in life together; I love to read slowly; I love when someone quotes one of my sermons (maybe that is my sinful nature speaking, but I’m just being honest…I spend tons of time in preperation and to think that someone held onto something…man!; and finally, I used to be into the Bears, but missing a touch down from the one yard line against the Redskins- I’ll come back, but I need some recoverey time.
Education: Saint Corneilius Elementary School (Chicago), William Howard Taft H.S., then Trinity International University,(B.A. YouthMinistries); then Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (Chicago suburbs, M.A., Educational Ministries).
Vince,
I am thrilled to have yet another avenue into your inspiring thoughts! You and Vintage Faith are truly a blessing to me!
LOVE this blog site
Great Blog site However, I don’t know if I can really say what I want because I am not sure who’s reading this. I guess we will have to do lunch one day and talk.

Re: Pastor Klug Reference Letter-Testimony
You don’t know me, but Vince and Beth do. I’m currently a pastor in northern California but I’m originally from Chicago. Vince and I grew up in the same church. We lost contact for a while but bumped into each other at Trinity, where we were both students. Vince got involved in Windy City Community Church, a church which I had planted and then pastored. I can’t begin to describe what an encouragement Vince was to a young pastor like me. Always positive, always caring, always supportive and always ready to help and serve. Nobody else in our church brought as many people to our church, or led as many of them to Christ as did Vince. He was always an outstanding man, a great friend and a blessing to be with. I am so incredibly proud of him and happy for him. It’s a privilege to serve God together with Vince and Beth. You guys are super blessed to have him as your pastor. so here’s my warning: take super-good care of him or else one day I might just steal him back from you. Good for you for having an appreciation for Vince at your picnic. Please give him and Beth my love and a great big hug.
In His Matchless Grace,
Bill Giovannetti
Senior Pastor
Neighborhood Church of Redding
Thank you Babette for posting that letter from Bill G. He has a great blog site at http://www.maxgrace.com.
Receiving this note was a huge encouragement to Beth and I. Bill had a huge impact on our lives for many years (before and after we were married).
By the way, the reason Bill wrote this note was due to a certain volunteer who wanted to be a blessing to me. So, thanks go out to Janae for all the many ways she blessed us at V-FCC.
Great! The sermons are back on iTunes! Thanks! Your teachings reach farther than you know…
I saw the picture of the angel warrior standing over the demon. I love it! Do you have inormation on this picture as to copyright and rights to use it for something like a tee shirt. At our church, we have a class going currently about Spiritual Warfare and after I showed them this picture I ws asked to see what use was available.
Thank you for any information you can share.
God Bless You!
